About the sea-swimming glass jewelry:
I began making “sea-swimming” jewelry in 2006—with glass that my husband Mark and I picked up on our travels. The sea-smoothed shards, painted with abstract designs, sparkle with the memories of their days swimming in the waves

At first I made simple pendants and earrings. Then I persuaded Mark to collaborate. Soon, he began to dream up designs, sculpturing forms with metal and beads to complement the color and texture of the sea-gems. So now—I create the glass pieces and Mark designs and fashions the necklaces. We are a team!
